Public Participation Meeting

Chairman Craig Lundeen called the meeting to order.  There were 7 Commission members present, clerk and 3 residents.  Past-Chair Bill Krueger was also present to help field questions as to the developement of the plan.  The commission addressed the email received from Rich Hess.  A letter of response will be sent to Mr. Hess.  Those in attendance were shown the maps and some questions concerning bounderies were answered.  2 of those in attendance stated that they have read the draft in it's entirety and feel it is a good plan.  There were no further questions.  

Chair. Lundeen asked the commission how they would like to proceed regarding John Seeger as a member.  Due to the fact that Mr. Seeger has not been in attendance for over a year.  There was a motion made by Craig Lundeen to remove Mr. Seegers name from the list of members, second by Allen Fanum.  Motion carried.  Chairman requested the clerk send him a letter thanking him for serving.  Chair. Lundeen then requested the clerk read off the names of those on the commission and thier years to serve.

Bill Krueger - 1 year (08-09)

Craig Lundeen, Allen Fanum - 2 years (08-10)

Laryn Larson - 3 years (08-11)

This commission is to have 5 members to make a quorum with 2 alternates.  It was determined that the clerk will place a notice in the Inter-County Leader and also the Indianhead Advertiser to run for 2 weeks requesting residents volunteer to serve on this commission.

New Business:  Public Comments have been addressed.

There was a motion made by Laryn Larson to present the Comprehensive Plan Draft to the Trade Lake Town Board for adoption, second by Allen Fanum.  The motion carried.

There was a motion made by Allen Fanum to adjourn the meeting of the Planning Commission, second by Laryn Larson.  The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.

The Planning Commission was called to order by Chair. Bill Krueger. There were 7 members in attendance. Mary Falk was also present. The Commission began at point 6.3 in the Preliminary Draft and reviewed 6.6, ED12-16 no changes. 7.1, 7.2,7.3 and 7.4. In Land Use they reviewed 8.9,8.12 and 9.2. The Commission anticipates more changes to Land Use so the decision was made to not go further with making corrections until the revised edition is made available. Tabled items for the next meeting are as follows Vision Statement, Road Ord. options concerning Large Scale Operations, Short/Long Term Goals Nest Meeting - Tuesday Nov. 3, 2009 7:00PM Chair. closed the meeting.

The Planning Commission Meeting was called to order by Chaim. Bill Krueger. There were 6 members present. Absent were John Seeger and Jim Melin. Mary Falk also attended this meeting. Bill asked the Comm. to select a chair. to take over on January 1, 2010 as his year will be complete. Due to family committments he will not continue to serve on this commission. His term was initially for 1 year only. He will not accept a second term.

Chairman Bill Krueger opened the meeting. There were 7 members present, John Seeger was absent. There were also 2 visitors present. It was decided at the Cluster Meeting to use this meeting to go over the hi-lited areas of the Plan Implementation Draft. There were typographical corrections made to various segments of the document. The Commission was made aware of the need to create a vision statement. The Clerk will look for examples of verbage relating to an ordinance dealing with the impact of a large Dairy or Industrial facility on Town Roads, Water sources, Infra-Structure, etc. This will be considered at the next meeting. The Agenda for the next meeting, October 6, 2009 at 7:00 PM is: Vision Statement, revisit 3.3; 4.1; 4.2;ANC 9 & 10; and address lesser issues. We will also discuss the information the Clerk reports.
